Pirotecnia Valenciana was founded by Manuel Crespo Ortells in 1965 and has been led since 1992 by his son José Manuel Crespo Vidal, who, at only 17 years old, became the youngest pyrotechnician in Spain and is currently regarded as one of the best fireworks designers of our time. The next generation is already underway: his son Manuel Crespo has taken charge of some designs for their latest shows, including the 51st International Fireworks Competition of the Costa Brava.

Considered one of the most important companies in the sector, Pirotecnia Valenciana is a faithful representative of the traditional spirit of Valencian pyrotechnic art and its reinterpretation through the application of new technologies in the design of pyrotechnic shows.

From their extensive resume in national and international festivals and competitions, their most recent awards include: 1st Prize Concha de Oro at the 58th International Fireworks Competition of San Sebastián (2023), 1st Prize at the International Fireworks Competition City of Tarragona (2016), and 1st Prize at the 25th International Fireworks Competition of Bilbao (2015).

For the fourth consecutive year (2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024), Pirotecnia Valenciana has won 1st Prize at the International Fireworks Competition of the Costa Brava – Vila de Blanes Trophy, and this year they are competing to retain this title.
