Founded in Ourense in 1960, Xaraiva is a family-run company that has established itself as one of Spain’s leading names in the pyrotechnics sector. With more than six decades of experience, it stands out for combining tradition, innovation and in-house production in each of its shows.

The company’s activity focuses on the production, design and storage of pyrotechnic materials, creating displays designed to turn every celebration into a unique visual experience. The added value of the firm lies in its use of fireworks of its own manufacture, the result of a long track record and deep expertise in the craft.

The company was founded by the father of the current manager, Luis Do Espírito Santo García, and experienced significant growth from 1977 onwards, when Luis took over the management. Under his leadership, Xaraiva expanded its production of traditional Galician pyrotechnics and began importing materials to supply both the company itself and third parties.

Since 1993, the firm has operated from a modern factory specially adapted to the most demanding safety standards. This commitment to innovation is also reflected in its shows, which feature state-of-the-art digital technology for launching and synchronising the fireworks.

Over the years, Xaraiva has taken part in major events in Spain and Portugal, as well as in international competitions, where it has earned recognition alongside prestigious companies from countries such as France, Italy and China.
