Zaragozana Pyrotechnics & Etienne Lacroix Group
Founded in 1860, Pirotecnia Zaragozana is one of the oldest companies in the Spanish pyrotechnic scene. It began as a small workshop located in a rural neighborhood of Zaragoza, run by Ángel Sanz, and over the years it transformed into a true fireworks factory, always in the hands of the same family.
This tradition, passed down from generation to generation, along with constant innovation, makes Pirotecnia Zaragozana synonymous with prestige and quality worldwide. Throughout its history, it has received numerous awards and international recognitions.
In 2014, the company became part of the Etienne Lacroix group, which has been present in the pyrotechnic industry since 1739. Both entities share the same values of independence, ethics, and excellence, and this union provides Pirotecnia Zaragozana with greater industrial and commercial development capacity within the group. Its subsidiary, Ruggieri, the undisputed European leader in pyrotechnic shows, allows them access to complementary technical and artistic resources, bringing their shows the experience gained worldwide.
Since 2017, Pirotecnia Zaragozana has been under the direction of Luis Brunchú, a fourth-generation pyrotechnician from this renowned family.
